Who we are
Glass, light and a better routine.
ALPHA OPTRON Co., Ltd. ((주)알파옵트론) was established in 2012 and is based in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. It pioneered a new market with the Nail Shiner, a glass-based self-care beauty item with semiconductor technology, and the Foot Filer in 2017.
Alongside its own design development and production, ALPHA OPTRON manufactures and distributes official TinyTAN licensed merchandise under a license contract with HYBE.
Milestones
From an invention to a product line
Established on 28 November 2012.
Silver Prize at SIIF 2013.
Gold Prize for the nail polisher «Polisseur d'ongles pour des soins efficaces», and a special prize in the name of the Minister of Health of Saudi Arabia, at the 42nd exhibition.
Became a corporation on 17 April 2015.
The glass Nail Shiner and Foot Filer launched.
Korean patent registered on 14 September 2018.

What we make
Our approach
Glass, by design
The usual 3–6 stage buffing routine with rough buffers, replaced by one fast and simple step.
The shiner works on the rugged top layer only — about 20 µm of an average 500 µm nail.
Shine comes from a smoother surface that reflects light, not from polish or chemicals.
Glass wears very little: one shiner lasts more than a year and washes clean with water.
