Technology
Why bare nails start to shine
A nail looks dull because its rugged surface scatters light in every direction. The glass shiner smooths only that top layer, so light reflects back evenly — the same reason polished glass gleams.
The usual 3–6 stage buffing routine with rough buffers, replaced by one fast and simple step.
The shiner works on the rugged top layer only — about 20 µm of an average 500 µm nail.
Shine comes from a smoother surface that reflects light, not from polish or chemicals.
Glass wears very little: one shiner lasts more than a year and washes clean with water.

How does a glass nail shiner make nails shine?
A rugged nail surface scatters light (diffuse reflection). The Magic Nail Shiner smooths that surface so the nail reflects light evenly (specular reflection) — no polish needed.
How long does the shine last?
On average, the shine lasts one to two weeks.
Will it make my nails too thin?
No. It only deals with the rugged surface of the nail — roughly 20 µm of an average 500 µm nail. Use it about once every two weeks; using it too often can harm the nail.
Can I use it over nail polish or nail art?
No. Remove nail art and use the shiner on bare nails only.
How long does one shiner last?
The glass wears very little, so one shiner can be used for more than a year. It can be washed with water.
